something i whipped up for fun over Thanksgiving holiday. this was a test actually where I painted the whole thing in black and white, then colorized it. I think I got better depth doing it this way and it actually made the process much easier. This is probably what I'll start doing for commissions as well

This is awesome. I have been away from DA for close to an entire year and you have yet to loose your touch or stop posting up new stuffs. Great piece! As always the shading looks awesome.
The artwork is great but what impressed me is how realistic you made the metallic shine on the sword and bracer look. I'm probably not well versed enough to know how difficult the rest of the piece is but I'm well aware how difficult that is. Awesome.
I've often read of artists painting in black and white then editing the color in. I've never tried it myself but I've always liked the idea of it. I may just have to try it myself sometimes.
