OK, so it came to my attention that some of you may not know your way around photoshop all that well...and that's ok, photoshop is an immensly complicated program and it takes years to learn it's full potential. either way, I've put together a short tut on adjusting and creating your own brushes. A LOT of the effects and patterns I get, I do through the use of creating my own brushes. and I actually very rarely use the preset brushes for painting. So.....hope this helps you guys out a bit. and if I'm leaving anything out that makes this unclear, please let me know and I'll try to adjust the tutorial.:D

That's why I never understood! Our photoshops are different, I suppose because I have a PC and you have Mac. Would that make a difference? I also have 7.0, which do you have?

the PC to Mac makes a slight difference in hotkeys, but it functions all the same. and as far as versions go, yes it does make a difference where things are located, however you can still customize and make your own brushes. I have CS at work and 7 at home and I use them interchangeably with no differences. you can still customize and dock all the same.

thay should all come with phtoshop and be stored within the deapth of your harddrive. when you load new ones just keep loading all the sets and hit append so it adds them, otherwise it'll replace. this is probably the most confusing part, i hope you didn't lose anything you created :(
